PROJECT DESCRIPTION

The presente project intends the construction of a house, seeking a volumetry integrated in the place, opting for an organized in only one floor, assuming a discrete and balanced volume with the surroundings.

In conceptual terms, we proposed a house in U-shaped, turning its back to the north, seeking the creation of a central outer space around which all the main compartments develop. This central area allows the housing to face south, where the sun exposure is most favorable, while ensuring privacy to this space. Unlike the southern part of the house, the late north facing façade is much more enclosed.

In terms of the house organization, it was proposed the most functional spaces in areas with lower sun exposure, such as toilets and stairway areas, thus freeing the south and west areas for living spaces and social spaces such as living room, dining room and kitchen, and in the case of the 1st floor, the bedrooms.
