PROJECT DESCRIPTION

Located in Vila Alegre, Seixal, this contemporary architecture project epitomizes a careful balance between functionality and integration with the local environment.

The primary objective of the house is to cater not only to the needs of its future inhabitants but also to seamlessly blend with the surrounding area. To achieve this, the layout was meticulously planned to preserve a central outdoor space, providing privacy for the family while offering unobstructed views of the Arrábida mountains to the south. .

Incorporating the natural surroundings into the daily living experience was a key consideration in the design of this contemporary architecture project in Vila Alegre, Seixal. The main rooms, including the living room and bedrooms, are strategically positioned to establish a strong relationship with the outdoor spaces adjacent to the house and the captivating views of the Arrábida mountains.

Large windows and sliding glass doors seamlessly integrate indoor and outdoor living areas, allowing ample natural light to flood the interior while providing uninterrupted views of the picturesque landscape. This intentional design fosters a sense of connection with nature and maximizes the enjoyment of the surrounding environment throughout the day.

Internally, the design prioritizes openness and fluidity, avoiding excessive compartmentalization of spaces. This ensures smooth transitions between rooms, fostering a sense of interconnectedness within the home.

In addition to its above-ground living areas, the villa features a basement that serves practical purposes such as parking for the family’s vehicles and housing technical facilities.
